my bundle with Robert Kaufman!
I have been keeping this secret for MONTHS! I am so excited to finally share about the secret project that I've been working on....my bundle with Robert Kaufman!
.
Robert Kaufman is one of my very favorite fabric manufacturers, so this is truly a dream come true. I remember when I started thinking about what I would possibly want to include in my bundle, my mind starting SWIRLING with ideas. Too many ideas if I'm being honest, haha. I played with fabric swatches for weeks on end with seemingly no clear direction with what I wanted to create. But then one day it finally clicked. I started thinking about my favorite colors that I love to sew with and I went from there. Obviously, I wanted some caramel and pecan representation....that always seems to be a constant for me. When thinking through that spectrum, it naturally led to peaches and oranges. Of course I was more than okay with those additions. To "cool" the palette off a bit, I knew that I needed something else to give it balance, and that's where the blues came in. And it would be a shocker if I didn't squeeze in purple somehow, so that was the final color family that I added in. I started with Kona solids of all of these shades, then I went through and browsed their various textures and substrates to switch out different fabrics to add interest and variation. My Pallette Picks bundle was born....

Robert Kaufman has such an extensive list of various types of fabrics. It was so fun to flip through and look at different yarn dyed wovens, linens, quilting cottons, etc. I tried to pull in as many different kinds of fabric that I could, and even tried a few new ones like Kona Sheen, Neon Neppy, and a couple of Chambrays. Here's a look at all of the "textured" fabrics that are in the bundle:

In total, there are 24 fat quarters, which makes it super versatile for many different patterns. But if you're wanting some smaller bundles, you can certainly split it up and use it for various projects. Here are a few ideas:
Sunrise (10 FQs)
.
Autumn Air (12 FQs)
.
Summertime (12 FQs)
.
Winter's Rest (14 FQs)
.
Spring Blooms (9 FQs)
.
And then if you wanted to split up the bundle into three 8 piece bundles, here's an idea:

Once I had my fabrics finalized for the bundle, I was so eager to make something with it! Over the next several weeks, I'll be sharing the 5 quilts that I created with the bundle. I love how they all turned out and I think you will too. :)
.
My bundle is now available for wholesale customers to purchase through the Robert Kaufman website. Be sure to ask your local quilt shop to order the bundle! We are also offering the bundle in our shop for Preorder. They expect to arrive in a few months!
